On the water

Folded, it is 43 cm long and slips into a rod bag or a backpack sleeve. On the bank you clip it to your belt and forget it until it is needed. The EVA grip stays honest when your hands are wet, and the soft nano-coated mesh lets you unhook and return a fish without dragging its scales.

What it does

Folds to 13 x 43 x 5.5 cm
Press and flip the triangular frame and the net collapses flat enough to travel inside your bag rather than snagging on the outside of it.

Aluminium alloy handle
A light alloy shaft with a corrosion-resistant electroplated coating, rated by the supplier for both freshwater and saltwater.

Hook-safe nano-coated mesh
The 5 mm hexagonal nylon mesh is coated to be gentle on fish and their scales, which helps when you are releasing rather than keeping.

Belt clip and reinforced hoop
A built-in handle clip hangs the net off your belt, and the reinforced circle connection holds the mesh to the frame.

Why we carry it

Landing nets are usually either packable or trustworthy. This one folds small without going flimsy at the joint, which is the point where most folding nets fail. It suits bank sessions, kayaks and small boats — anywhere you are carrying everything yourself and would rather not choose between a net and a spare reel.
