On the water
Eleven bearings keep the retrieve turning without the grind you get from a cheaper reel halfway through a season. At 5.0:1 to 5.8:1 the gearing picks up line quickly — enough to keep pace with a fish swimming at you, enough to work a lure back at speed. The handle swaps to either side, so it fits how you already fish rather than asking you to relearn.
