On the water
The cylinder shape is what makes 23 litres feel bigger than it is — round packs load properly, where a flat pack wastes its corners. At 650 grams the bag adds almost nothing to what you are carrying. Switch to the single-shoulder sling on the bank and you can get into it without setting it down in the mud.
