On the water
The reel seat is the part that decides whether a telescopic rod is any good. This one is built to stay put rather than working loose over a session of casting, which is where most telescopic rods lose you. The sections close tight and seamless, so the blank behaves like one piece under load. Inclined guide rings sit the line closer to the blank and keep it running clean off the spool.
